Since 1980, the Musée des Deux-Rives
has been talking about the history, art and industrial realities
faced by the workers of the regions of Salaberry-de-Valleyfield
and Beauharnois.
The past is a trustworthy witness: the Musée des Deux-Rives sits squarely
in the heart of the cultural life of its citizens, the campvallensiens.
MISSION

To create a feeling of pride and belonging at the local,
regional, and national levels with a special regard towards
our industrial heritage;

To bring together into one association all those persons
having an interest in history, art, and cultural inheritance
and to further their understanding of this branch of science;

To organize and hold events and performances that promote
and popularize history, art, and patrimony;

To preserve and manage the holdings of the museum;

To print, publish, and distribute all publications dedicated
to the above;

To establish and administer a museum of cultural
and touristic significance.
